Company Overview
The Watermark opened its doors over 10 years ago in Phuket, Thailand and became a well-known restaurant and bar that served a variety of multi-ethnic cuisine. After the success of Watermark the owners decided to branch out and created Ocean Catering. The ambitions of the Watermark and its affiliated business, Ocean Catering, proved to be a success with customers and critics as it has been recognized by winning a variety of awards for its quality and excellence. Through these accomplishments, the Watermark management gained the confidence to open a bakery, which has become an important section of the Watermark’s business, as it allows for the Watermark to extend its customer base by offering different variety’s of specialty foods to its clientele.

In August 2008, management changed and the new owner, Roberto Ugolini, took over the Watermark and its affiliated businesses.
Mr. Ugolini is not a stranger to the advantages of owning a restaurant in Phuket, as he is the owner of two Italian restaurants-Limoncello, located in the Royal Phuket Marina and Toto Italian Restaurant, located in the Phuket Laguna. He envisaged the opportunities before him when acquiring the Watermark, and over the years he has modernized the company yet keeping in mind the same outlook of quality and excellence of the previous owner. Since than, Mr. Ugolini decided to expand this small company into a multi-compartmental company, as his desire is to make a name for Watermark all over the world!
